Even though it hasn't even been three weeks since I was there, it seems like a million years ago. This is were I stayed my first and last nights in New York as well as hung out. The tall building in the picture in Elisabeth's friend Michele's place in Manhattan. As I recall the date on the cornerstone was 1897, but my memory could be faulty there - Elisabeth, correct me if I am wrong. Michele's loft is along the lower row of arched windows. The pictures I posted my first morning in Manhattan are from this building. In this photo I am standing near where the purple banner at the bottom left of the view of Broadway in the other photo.
