Yesterday I stopped by Birk's and bought the ring. I had to guess the size from just eyeballing her finger, so I hope to hell I guessed right. I have no idea how this is going to go. She has been pretty seriously depressed the last week of so... she has a buch of cruddy stuff going on right now, which was bad enough, and then her car died this week on top of it. I'm hoping a nice dinner and some sangria will get her cheered up a bit. I have no idea how she is going to react. I'm trying not to think about it too much so I'm not exceedingly nervous or get myself all freaked out.
