I love this weather!

The wind is just nutty downtown today. Some of the wires were blown off one of the telephones in the alley beside my apartment. Walking from the bus I was blown off balance at the corner of Georgia and Howe (note that I am 189 cm and about 95 kg - not little!). I can hear the wind whistling around the building and the windows are visibly flexing. I love it! I just wish I was out in Tofino right now! This is the kind of day when the waves get up to 4 or 5 metres... hell, today you can practically surf on English Bay! Apparently the ocean is splashing right into Kits pool.

no fair! eastcoast forcast for today- another warm, rainy day. bleagh. i love it when it's really windy... altho' gusts aren't all that friendly to wind-surfers... *sigh*

And on the news tonight (seriously): the couple whose mobile home was damaged by the wind and the people living at the bottom of a hill who have water running down the hill into their basements.

Once again, Henry Rollin's "El Niño" rant comes to mind....
