It was a dark and stormy night

The wind is howling. The rain is pelting against the windows. There are flashes of lightning on the mountains. An ambulence just when by and the sound is fading in the distance. In a few minutes I'll be warm and snuggly in my bed getting the kind of sleep I only seem to get on nights like this.
