Moving is Hell

My knees are brused from crawling around pulling up carpets and the subsequently crawling around the hard floor pulling staples. My fingertips are bruised and cut. My forearms are covered in tiny cuts. I'm one big ache from carrying stuff. But there is more to do. Not everything is out of my old apartment, there are more carpets to pull and painting to be done, then Ivana moves in on Sunday. My only physical rest I'll have is (at-most) six hours of exhausted sleep and work.

But on the bright side, my commute is spectacular. The bus ride down the mountain sports some great views of the city that remind me of coming into New York on the bus from Elizabeth's. The Seabus is always fun. I love Waterfront Station so much that I used to just hang around there and drink coffee when I was going to SFU. With the walk to the bus, the bus ride, the ferry, and then the walk to the office my commute takes an hour now, but whatever, I used to spend an hour and a half getting to SFU when I was going to school and kept that up for four years. Besides, I really like the Seabus.

But now I have to bail and get back to the house to deal with the cable guy. Ugh. Too much to do...
