Ass hAOLs

O.K. This may be a leftover from the "old days" of the pre-web Internet, but I've always had a dislike for AOL. I don't like using AIM, but since I have a few friends that do use it I have an AIM account I use with Trillian. Now AOL is bullying Trillian. Idiots. AOL claiming that using Trillian is "hacking into their system" because it is an IM client other than theirs is like claiming using MSIE, Netscape, Opera, Lynx or other web browsers to access AOL hosted websites is hacking because they are not the official AOL browser.

Once again AOL proves themselves to be a bunch of dumb ass-hAOLs.

I just heard that today... I love trillian... but my AIM hasn't worked on Trillian for 2 days... *hrmmmm*

Download the latest version. Trillian is pumping out fixes faster than AOL can break them. The latest version is 0.721 and it works with AIM.

Haha...I was getting annoyed with having both AIM and ICQ open at the same time...AOL's actions have pissed you off enough to post it on your LJ, thereby allowing me to to be introduced to Trillian, which was what I've been looking for but didn't know exist. How's that for free publicity?
