My dad was an upholsterer. Whenever he found old coins in some antique furniture or car he would give them to me. I had a pretty good collection of Canadian coins and quite a few British ones as well. Not a lot of the collection survived the poverty of art school and I don't really collect in earnest anymore, but I still like it and will get the occasional something. The first set of circulation coins with a new monarch is something. via Instagram
