Burning the gunk out
Jun. 16th, 2001 07:53 pmOK. My "soft-rock", SUV driving, yuppie poster-boy, fuck-head upstairs neighbour cranked up Elton John again 
. He played "Do You Believe in Love" repeatedly the other day and just hit me with it again. Ugh. I've gone up and asked him shut off the shit before. Then I realized that the only time he turns the music up that loud is when he is fucking, and I don't need to see him in his skivvies with wood again, thanks. I moved on the much more efficient broom on the ceiling for a while, but just now I lost my patience when subjected to Elton again. In frustration I countered with the Rollins Band 
. No fucking way I'm I going to listen to "Do You Believe in Love" over an over again.
So "Get Some Go Again" at full volume seems to have done the trick. I left the CD on for a few songs. I so rarely crank my stereo all the way up (since I am actually courteous to my neighbours) that when I went to turn it down there was that smell of dust-burning-off-hot-electronics smell.
