I'll be damned!

Once again I must say the Internet is a strange and wonderful thing. This morning I was greeted by an e-mail from Georgia (the American state, not the Russian one) where someone wanted some development work. Amazing. When I put up my business web site I never expected anyone to even see it without my directing them to it, let alone any business to come in from it. As it stands, however, the amount of money that has come in as a direct result of people finding the site is well into five figures. I guess I shouldn't bitch about the money I spend on the server and my connection.

I hate heat

Despite the fact that I was tired last night I hardly selpt In hindsight, if I had known I wasn't going to get to sleep until sometime after 3am I would have gone to Luv-a-Fair with Trish. D'oh! The other ramification of this insufferable summer weather that concerns me is I don't feel like eating. All I ate yesterday was a bowl of ice-cream. You'd think I'd be hungry, but I'm not. Instead I am having what I call a "Kafka day"... I know I should eat something but there isn't a single food I can think of that is even remotely appealing.

I want to go play with my camera

I'm sitting here, repeatedly waiting for program agents to run as I try to pinpoint a glitch that has been a problem since before I started this job. It's a matter of change one tiny thing, run the agent. Change the tiny thing back and change some other tiny thing, run the agent again. Note what changed. Rinse. Repeat. Boring but effective. Of course what I really want to do is go home and play with my new toy. I've got a mountain of artwork that I don't have good pictures of. Not to mention I am way overdur for getting the Sin City pictures up. I've got about two thirds of them ready to post and meant to get the rest up last Saturday but couldn't because my computer was tied up by SlowPatrol.

Time for bed

I'm working in eastern time tomorrow and Friday... 6am to 2pm... fun, fun, fun!
