Somehow it got replaced with this perfectly brilliant life that I hope never ends. I was kissed and kissed again by by someone I hadn't dared even imagined kissing. My muse has wandered back into my life. Manhattan is singing to me like a Lorelei and the tickets are already bought and paid for. There is money in my pocket, food in the fridge, and all is right with the world.

The elf to kill dragons for told me today that nothing can go wrong for long in my life because I am not the sort to let such things happen. My mother has always said I was born with a hoseshoe up my ass (which is worth so much more than a silver spoon in ones mouth). It's true.

Wandering across the Granville Bridge in the rain at 2:30 in the morning hasn't felt this good in a decade. Tonight I will dream of the most adorable crow's feet. I may be old, but the mermaids still sing for me.

Well, a good sleep and nice lazy holiday Monday soak in the tub and everything is still feeling pretty damn good. I'll catch up a little more with my accounting and get some more pictures posted. Gotta do laundry and get the dishes out of the way, too. And then this evening I think I'll write Suzanne back and give Shannon a call.
