I'm back. Safe and cosy in my apartment. The flight was uneventful. I actually slept through most of it. The layover in Seattle sucked. Considering the wait time I almost could have driven from Seattle faster. I had the same little prop-driven plane back to Vancouver. There were only eight people on the flight so getting through customs was a breeze - there were more customs agents than passengers. It was a bumpy ride in the little plane - there were a couple points where I was afraid I was going to spill my Coke. But it was totally beautiful. It was a partly cloudy night with a nearly full moon. Along the way I could see Victoria and Duncan in the distance. It would have made a great picture but there was no way I could have gotten a long enough expose clearly.

It's back to work in earnest today. I have a ton of stuff to do.

So, anyway, here are the unretouched pictures from my last day in Manhattan. I went all the way uptown to The Cloisters, which is the medaeival annex of the Met. I'll be gradually posting the resized and retouched photos over the next few days.
