I may be staying in Vancouver, after all. I got a call from a recruiter today about a job with a privately owned, BC based company.

Ugh. The HSBC incident came up with the recruiter over this new job. *sigh* If this causes a problem I am so going to launch a wrongful dismissal suit. The amount of money I have been screwed out of over one stupid LJ post... grrrr.

If I can spend a couple thousand dollars criss-crossing the continent looking for work surely I can afford to buy a nice new suit for my interview.

(another fine rationalization brought to you by Michael R. Barrick)

Well, gots me a new suit. S'a nice Eye-talian job. Black, of course.

It was on sale, as were shirts and ties. So with a couple new ties and shirts to go with it, it only cost me as much as my return plane ticket to Toronto.... I hate buying business clothes.

Valley
A valley in the BC interior.
I quite like how it is obvious that the sunny side of the valley is used for growing things and the shady side is pasture.

Phew!

Alright. The HSBC shit has been worked around and I have an interview tomorrow afternoon. Time to hem the pants on my new suit.
