Yet I can't find anything in the news. Why is that? I found stories about a bus accident in Surrey, a car wiping out on the Knight Street bridge, the highway to Whistler closing and such. The CBC had a story about power outages in Richmond, Langley and Coquitlam. WTF? The power goes out for a good chunk of downtown including along the main street through downtown and it's not news? Why? Because no suburban plebs or condo-dwelling SUV owners were affected.

Georgia Street with no streetlights and no traffic lights.

The Banff and the Stadacona with no lights and the streetlights and traffic lights out along Bute St.
