Once again, all comments are screened and my "friend of" list is hidden. Who stays and who goes is just between you and I.

After Sunday my friends only posts will return to the usual boring drivel. My pictures and rants about history, politics and art that I have been posting publicly won't change. Some of you with photoblogs that I watch are, unfortunately for you, going to continue to be stuck with me. Everyone else who doesn't want to see my latest quizilla results or read another exciting tale of new shoes need do nothing at all to be spared.

Cruel Shoes

These would be the cruel shoes purchased last Sunday that did most of the damage to my feet. Note the spot of blood at the heel of the left shoe.

These are the pair I bought Thursday night for the sake of torturing my feet in a different place and so I don't end up in the same boat I was last weekend. My only pair of acceptable office shoes died and I had to go out and buy *something* PDQ. I like these ones quite a bit better, actually. It's the sole that really makes them-- the leather is painted to look like cherry-wood. Very neat touch.
