Terminally Stupid People

In South Florida, police said two people died at the free anchorage outside Dinner Key Marina and several people were missing. ''Quite a few house boats turned over,'' said Miami Police Chief John Timoney. ``I wouldn't be surprised if we find a few more bodies.''

And you thought people living in trailer parks in Tornado Alley were stupid? Having a float house in an area that regularly gets hammered by hurricanes is foolish enough, but actually staying in a float-house during a hurricane is worthy of a Darwin Award.

Red Chair Project (Part 1) Extended

Because it has turned out to be a problem scheduling sittings I'm extending the Red Chair Project for another two weekends (ending Saturday, September 10th). Convenient sitting times would be tomorrow afternoon and evening before Sanctuary, Thursday the 1st before Blender, Sunday the 4th before Sanctuary, Wednesday the 7th before Curiosity, and Saturday the 10th before Sin City. If you are planning to go out to any of these nights anyway, essentially all I am asking is for you to swing by for twenty minutes or so before heading to the club. After the 10th I'm moving on to the paintings and I won't be doing new photographs for several months.
