Lost in Translation

I was just have a look at my spam filter logs and a particularly badly translated subject line for some pr0n spam made me laugh out loud: "suck my catling".

News in the Blog World

1. Hear shouting and honking outside, knowing the World Cup final was today,
2. Go to http://www.perturb.org/lj_images.php to see the last 20 pictures posted to LiveJournal,
3. See many, many pictures of Italy winning.

It's really remarkable how much of my news I get from looking at the last 20 pictures posted to LJ. You'll see protests that never make the news, every celebrity death, disasters as they happen, all interspersed with Russian art photos, EMO haircuts, kitten pictures, and all the assorted strangeness you can handle.

On Friday I used my new camera to document my commute home from work. I had originally planned to do an annotated chronology, but I've chosen instead to show twelve randomly selected images from the one hundred forty-three images in the set.
