  • Dire news! Canadian tea supply down to a mere 3-week supply.
  • Story of French aviators from yesterday's paper reprinted. Reported altitudes are different.
  • Man loses four fingers on his right hand in construction of Hudson's Bay store on Douglas Street.
  • Not-so-subtle vilification of Germans continues with a story of a German mob killing a wealthy French woman's husband and baby.
  • Full text of Anglo-Japanese treaty printed on editorial page to explain Japan's rôle in the war.
  • Editorial on how the extent of censorship by the Imperial government is only allowing the most vague reporting on the war.
