There. This is the sort of frame I had in mind all along. I'm calling this finished now. In pure antithetical disregard for the Post-Modern critical theory that was du rigueur when I was getting my visual arts degree, the frame is part of the work. I repaired chipped corners and gilded it. I am going to learn how to carve my own decorative florets so I can make my own. It's satisfying, I love it, and all the fuскs over whether anyone else likes it are long gone. via Instagram
