This is shaping up much creepier than the one from three years ago. Go figure that practicing nearly every day might actually have some effect. Who'd've thunk it?

It's very wonky at the moment since only I know what is going to be layered over. I'm oxymoronically being very careful to stay loose while I mess with the light and shadows. I don't want any hard lines in this yet. I'm throwing things at the general area of where they need to be, then throwing them again when I miss with the idea that enough translucent layers will find a soft probability cloud in the right place. I'll place some sharp details for contrast and focus later, but I'm nowhere near that yet #painting #acrylicpainting #process
