Alaska: Because it's cold, and north, and how Canadian is that? Plus we got royally fucked over the panhandle. Juno was a Mountie outpost!
Washingtion and Oregon: Because you sneaky bastards scooped those away from then HBC when we weren't looking.
Wisconsin, Illinios, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana: Because the Imperial government handed those over to the justdiction of the American colonies to try and stave off the Revolutionary War. It didn't work. We want them back.
Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississipi and Lousiana: Because Napoleon had no right to sell that off after *we* conquered New France. Except who actually wants Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas or Mississpi? We'll settle for New Orleans.
New York: because New York City is in it and I like it there.
California and Florida: To control the citrus supply and to get back at Disney for having the rights to depictions of the Mounties.

Actually, on second thought, southern California sucks. We'll just keep the northern half and give the rest to Mexico. And maybe we'll let the Québecois have their own country, only instead of letting Quebec separare they'll all have to move to Florida and Louisiana. Not like they don't all spend most of their time there anyway.
