I drove to work today because I have to go to the dentist this afternoon and my dentist is on the far side of town. Anyway, glad I did or I wouldn't have gotten to see what I saw:

The car in front of me was an expensive, pretentious convertable. The guy in it was driving with his cell-phone headset on, talking to the ether like a lunatic borg. At a traffic light a dump truck pulled up beside him on the left. When the light changed and the dump-truck began to move it turned out that the truck's tailpipe was roughly the same level as the guys head in his ground-hugging convertable and blasted him in the face with a huge cloud of black deisel smoke.

"It's funny when other people hurt themselves, as long as you know they aren't hurt permanently ...and it hurts a lot!"

I'd say it's human nature, but I don't think it is exclusive to us. I've seen reports that chimps take similar pleasure in the misfortune of others and I have personally observed cats clearly enjoying the misfortune of other cats.

poor guy - I guess he will have to drive back to his north
vancouver mansion and cry himself to sleep in his HUGE pillow.

I will say this though. at least he was wearing a headset
instead of those SUV guys who have on hand on the cell phone,
the other hand on a Latte , Foot on the accelerator and the break and stearing with their egos.
