Date: 2002-09-27 02:08 pm (UTC)Up until just four years ago I used to have a Tiajuana Brass 8-track kicking around. My old amp that I got for $5 at VV Boutique had an 8-track player built in (thus the cheap price - it was a perfectly good 50-watt amp/tuner unit but was "unsellable" because of the 8-track). Just because I could, I would make the occassional run down to the skid-row pawn-shops and pick up absurd 8-tracks for, litterally, nickles and dimes.

Date: 2002-09-27 04:19 pm (UTC)My best 8-track was The Village People, "Go West". It had "In the Navy" on it and changed tracks right in the middle of the song. Absolutely classic.
