Going back to the points in this post:

She is passionate and romantic but not at the expense of her intellect.
  • Check

  • She's sexy and wild but never inappropriate: she'll go to the fetish club and the black tie soirée and not be out of place or uncomforable at either - there's even a good chance she'll pull them both off in the same dress.
  • Check

  • Friday she'll go to the pub and drink a pints and talk about philosophy and comic books.
  • Wouldn't be out of character at all, so "check"

  • Saturday morning she'll shop for antiques and speak of laquers and varnishes, but Saturday night she'll down drinks that could peel paint and dance like she's kicking someone's ass in boots that make her ten feet tall and while wearing plasitc hair.
  • Check on the former, not quite on the latter as she is more the pointy-boot type, which is even better ;-) Check.

  • She knows the bartender that freepours.
  • We talked about drinking "spillage" at TZ, definte check

  • She has one foot in the 19th century and the other in the 21st.
  • Check

  • Sunday she'll do the Times crossword
  • Bit fat "check" (crossword freak!)

  • waiting for Sunday brunch and spend the afternoon sipping coffee and listening to jazz
  • Check

  • while she makes art that I am envious of but not competative with.
  • Check (even have some hanging on the wall now!)

  • She'd rather have her name mentioned in a textbook than have a baby.
  • Haven't had this conversation, but I suspect this to be the case, tentative "check"

  • She won't want to move in with me but she'll want to get an apartment in the same building.
  • Check

  • She'll be able to put on a black dress that makes you want to bite your hand like Squiggy and dance in a swishy way that makes you shut your eyes at work on a Wednesday afternoon and smile a private smile and makes the pile of crap on your desk go away just for a minute while you remember how she looked.
  • OK it isn't Wednesday yet, but definite "check" nonetheless

  • And when work is out of control and you need to bring some of it home and work late, she'll sneak up behind you and kiss your neck while you are working and put a coffee beside you.
  • No data available at this point

  • She'll call you on your shit but not make you feel like shit while doing it.
  • No data, but I suspect so, tentative "check"

  • She'll go walking in the park with you and make fun of dogs.
  • We made fun of dogs over brunch, so definite "check"

  • She's a city girl who'd rather go to a night-club than take a walk in the woods as a general rule,
  • Check

  • but she'll love the ocean and the mountians and visiting places like Duncan and Tofino.
  • No data

  • She's challenging, but rarely frustrating.
  • Don't know yet

  • She won't leave and argument unfinished and refuses to go to bed mad.
  • No data

  • When she's tired she curls up on the couch with the cats to read or watch TV and wants you with her.
  • Check

  • [wow]

    LOL, thanks :-)

BTW, we talked about Hallowe'en costumes and one of the options was Deckard and Rachel.

Then I'd have to believe in fate, and that would just mess up my whole idea of free-will. Nothing is written (in advance anyway, after the fact it all ends up on Livejournal).

ah. That's where we differ my friend. I do believe in fate. Well, we'll just have to see won't we? mouahahaha!

But seriously, I'm so happy to see this happening. I wish I had actually gotten my white ass to Skank like I was supposed to, to see you in action. haha!

No a bad idea... Not bad indeed.

This year I am single at halloween so I was free to persue
a singluar non-couple costume. Neither I nor my ex were thin enough to pull off Jack and Sally so one year we were PUGSLY and WEDNESDAY and the following LYDIA and BEATLEJUICE.

If you wanted more interesting Blade Runner costumes - I would say
the French Civil War Bear and the German Ottoman goose stepping Soldier (J.F Sebastians Toys)

Or Blade runner meets house of the dead ... Eldon Tyrell AFTER his meeing with Roy.

I thought of the ROY and Pris Idea .. carying a dove in one hand and a nail through my other hand but going around without a shirt on
would get damn cold around halloween .. plus - I am NOT in that good of shape.

I however would go as ROY .. as long as I can say ..."I want more life ..FUCKER" or to the badtender "I want a drink ..FUCKER"
(although that would get my ass thrown out.

and then I could go into my monologue as I sit shivering shirtless outside the nightclub in vancouver rain.

"Ive seen things you people couldn't imagine, I watched Vampirella Dance in the Cage at the Twilight Zone, I saw Bauhouse Sing in the Darkness at queen elizabeth theatre.. all these moments will be lost in time like tears in rain...time to die"

    *gasp*

    From: [identity profile] seymour-glass.livejournal.com
dood it's much like the unbearable lightness of being...you only have one life to live and nothing to compare it to...so you can only know if something is real or right by doing it...c'est la vie...so your only real choice is to have fun and enjoy it while you are trying it out...and put it behind you those times it doesn't come out in the wash...nobody ever believes those statements anyway...ha ha...now you can say "i'm never making a statement like that again"...ha ha...

I wonder if Videomatica might have it? If anyone does, it would be them. They are the only place I know of where you can get a hold of the old WB "wolf" cartoons. Then again, the current Disney administration might not be too fond of it being shown at all and it may have never released it on video tape at all. Nearly everything we saw/used in basic was WWII vintage. I wonder how one would get a hold of the *film*?
