No News is Bad News

I still can't go home. At this point I'm just stuck waiting on the city. I can tolerate the physical issues like ensuring the wiring is safe, the fire alarm is working, and that sort of thing - it's waiting for bureaucrats that is intolerable. If I'm not allowed back tomorrow I am tempted to squat in my own apartment.

Excellent idea. Claim you're squatting in the name of more low cost housing... Not only won't they move you out, you'll be able to live there rent free for better than a month.

Of course you'll need to get a generator to run your computers...
