In fact, the first building to surpass the Great Pyramid:
Yup, it's the Brooklyn Bridge.
Here's a little echo of how it would have appeared in the 1880's.
The big news locally (and probably nationally) is that some guy got caught plotting to cut the main suspension cables as a follow-up to the WTC.
