mbarrickI'm just sitting here with Tharsis, drinking a Bombay and Tonic, waiting for Trish to come over. It should be an interesting night, there is drama waiting to unfold. This is my life. I'm not sure how I got here. But here I am nonetheless.
Has anyone who looks at this ever seen "Bright Lights, Big City" with Michael J. Fox? That movie strikes a chord with me. The details are different from my life but it feels the same: artist with a boring job, dead parent, failed marriage, too many parties and nightclubs and wondering what happened to the days when I used to get up at 4am rather than go to sleep then.
That's just how it goes.
