This is why I so rarely get out on weeknights/Sundays anymore. I can't concentrate on work with less than six hours sleep. Today I am running on somewhat less than four and I am completely useless, but I couldn't not go photograph the Sanctuary/Rebel Rebel Hallowe'en party. I haven't had a chance to really go though the pictures yet, but I took over 100 so if only half of them are decent I'll still have a lot of new eye-candy on the site later tonight. And those are just my pictures, there were plenty of cameras snapping away last night. I really should put some effort into making the picture upload page a little easier to use. Like so much of the site (OK, all of the site) it was slapped together quick and dirty.

Wow. It's now been three years that I've been running the picture site now.

I think I *am* sick on top of it all. I took some ephedrine to stay awake and yet I have a slight case of sniffles even with a decongestant in me. This is not good. If I am sick for the wedding I will not be happy.

Uh, tell ME about it! I didn't have to get up all that early due to work, but I have a zillion self-imposed commitments that need attention which prompted me to rise by 10:30 am. And I was there quite a bit before everyone else and waaaaay after. Even if I had slept later, I'd still be pretty useless. it's not the lack of sleep or physical effort that kills me ... my mental reserves just need a break now and then. I've been go go go pretty much since I got back from tour / vacation, multi-tasking every day and working under super looming deadlines, and barely getting things under the wire for events and jobs that have a ton of different facets of organisation. Arggggh. My brain needs a week off.

I'm glad you & Elaine made it out last night. I saw you wiggling about in your costume! Hope you enjoyed the night beyond just the costumes and photo-taking! Definitely I can't WAIT to see them pictures!

And yes, hard to believe it has been three years for your site! But quick and dirty as it's initial creation was, you obviously hit the nail right on the head with it. It's such a valuable resource to so many people ... in a purely personal way. Good on ya and Happy Three Year to your baby, whenever it's birthday might be!
