i continue to be amused by the fact that this western pacific nw winter seems to be experiencing more snowfall than those of the 7 winters i lived there combined.

It's just the way the comment times work with S2 styles. I tried to find a function to adjust for the local time zone, but didn't see anything. GMT makes a certain amount of sense anyway though, considering some of my firends are in different time zones anyway.
