It's like a kind of miracle

Precisely three months after this "two week" project started, inclding 10 weeks with gaping holes in the walls, they have finally gotten around to filling them. With luck it will only take them a month to get around to painting the patches and another two months to come around and do it again after they fuck it up the first time.

any chance you could talk to management about being employed as a independent contractor and just do the repairs yourself? No assholes to muck about in your apartment when you're not there, better quality work, and get them to write the repairs off of your rent?

It's kinda funny that I am already done my painting and I have only been there for about 3 weeks :P
I am available if those bastards need a hand :P

They need a kick in the pants, that's what they need. At 10:30 this morning they knocked, said "we'll be up shortly". At 11:55 they showed up just to say "we'll be back after lunch". At 1:45 they reappeared, and actually did some plastering - took all of 10 minutes. Then they went away, and came back at 3:00 to check it for a few minutes, then they were gone again.

You know, one guy actually asked me "do you know if we're supposed to fix the patch in the hallway? Do you know who started that?" "The superintendant started it", I told him, to which he replied, "ok, I'll have to check with him about that." To which I said, "I don't care who does it, I just want you guys to hurry up and fix it." I have stopped being nice. It is my intention to be as bitchy as possible so that when they have to come into this suite, they'll finish up fast in oder to avoid having to talk to me.
