Buckwheat Ronald Reagan is dead. The world is now ever so slightly a better place. Just say "no" to fascists.

But remember, kids: his legacy lives on. Watch the fun as Bonzo props up a false economy built on debt and millitary excess. Monkey see, monkey do.

And nobody seems to talking about how it was Reagan who backed the Taliban against "The Evil Empire" in Afghanistan, and who gave Saddam the means to gas a million Iranians in the Iran-Iraq war.

Good riddance!!!!

Of all the US Presidents, Reagan scared me the most (even more than the current Bush). No other president seemed likely to start a nuclear war than Reagan seemed capible of doing.

But of course, it's an election year. There is a whole generation of voters that aren't old enough to actually remember Reagan, but are old enough to vote. Propaganda and electioneering - after all, Bush isn't one to miss an opportunity to sleasily leverage death to his advantage.

that's true, and neither is harper...i can't believe his sanctimonius speech attacking martin because he said we invaded norway instead of normandy...his vitriolic comment "how dare our prime minister forget an event where so much blood was shed"...yeh it was a dumb mistake, but fuck right off with your righteousness...
