I don't think this is displaying properly-

Is this the one where they stobe 2 pictures taken a few centimeters appart to give the 3D look to it?

Yes, it is a 2-frame GIF.

You've had problems with the last two animated GIF's I have posted when nobody else has. I think you have a problem you need to look into. Both images (this and the clapping icon) were prepared in Adobe ImageReady, so it isn't like I'm using some obscure non-standard software that doesn't write a GIF properly.

Probably the fact that I am looking at it from work .. there is probably a GIF plugin I need or a setting for iexplorer that needs to be changed (that I am not allowed to do due to privacy settings set by the sysadmin)

I have seen them before on other websites(with other computers)

Earlier today I wrote:

"Not working for me :/

If this technique is similar to the one used in stereo medical imaging, this technique is refresh rate dependent...

So I think this will not work for people running LCD monitors via DVI inputs (like me at work) or running high refresh (72-85 Hz) rates on CRT monitors (like me at home ).

I think it will work fine at the default refresh rate (60 Hz) on CRT monitors - I will play with it at home tonight to confirm!"

Well it turns out it's refresh rate independent afterall... The animated GIF wiggles at about 5-20 Hz depending on the content!

Now (at home) I can see a semblant of depth if I sit about 3 to 4' from my 19" CRT monitor. Earlier today (at work) I was sitting about 1-2' from my 20" LCD monitor.

So I think the trick for me is to sit away from my monitor :)
