Behold, Das Keyboard. Any geek working in an office where other people (like incompetent tech-support monkeys) mess with your computer, or in a home where kids, roommates, etc. mess things up on a regular basis, needs one of these.

Even better -- take a regular keyboard, pull the keycaps off, and rearrange them.

On a totally unrelated topic... I just realized the text colors are completely different on [livejournal.com profile] gothicbc when using IE (I generally use Firefox or Mozilla). In IE, the color is blue (with white links) -- in Firefox all text is white.

IE is doing it right. The inheritance doesn't quite work the way it should in Firefox (the implementation of CSS is not as good in Firefox as they would have you believe). I haven't bothered coding around it yet because the white isn't terrible.

That's interesting. I never really look too closely at which browser actually "does it right", since all browsers have their idiosyncrasies. Hell, IE on the Mac renders pages differently than IE on Windows... there just seems to be no winning ;-)

Nice. Couple that with a set of MILSPEC VR goggles like I was using at E3 and my new pistol mouse I got signed by the inventor Jeff, and you can scare your coworkers even more than I already do.

Definitely. I code my CSS to W3C specs and then mangle as needed, when needed.
