Given the Choice

Given the choice between the three hours I spent watching and listening to the utterly useless demo I was supposed to have flown to Vernon for today and watching paint dry I would have chosen the paint as the more exciting option. I'm so very glad I had the good sense to say no to attending in person. By attending remotely I was able to hang up three hours into the four-hour demo and go home.

I won't bother getting into the mind-numbing details of it all. It was just another waste of time bunch of lip-service toward a (bad) decision already made. I really shouldn't give a shit: I'm already on my way out, I don't have any respect for the company or its owner - problem is I just have this (of late insufferable) predilection toward doing a good job.
