the fact that I can't use JavaScript on Livejournal. The "Generator" style was already pretty close to what I wanted, so it wasn't a big deal to get it done. I was expecting it to take longer. In other almost completely uninteresting news, I picked up my new pair of glasses today. They are nearly completely round, black frames, very vintage looking in a Harold Lloyd sort of way (that's him on the right). I feel compelled to go hang from a clock tower now...
It's just a thrill a minute around here today.

Date: 2005-07-15 06:16 pm (UTC)My last set had completely round John Lenon lenses (although the frames weren't as pronounced as my current horned rim set. I wanted them to look subtle and non-existent .. but no matter what I did - I couln't dismiss the fact that they were there.
I reveresed paradigms with my current frame design in 1999. Instead of trying to look subtle - I went with blatantly obvious and ultra geek-chic.

The whole point of these is not to look out of place with late 19th century and early 20th century period clothes. Here I am trying to put together a vintage look and accidentally being fashionable.
