I got in trouble for this sentence

The following is an excerpt from an e-mail I sent at work this morning to a project manager, "If anyone whines remind them that this is a pilot and we need to ensure the data we collect is controlled and consistent."

Apparently "whine" was too sarcastic. Someone whined about it.

Yeah. I love my job.

People just aren't people anymore. I bet that guy who got all pissy, chuckled to himself first. But then again, my roommate had put a note to his dayshift staff on a dry-erase board, titled: "Puny day-shift beings..." And got friggin fired after being there 6 years... This was Earthlink though, if you know anything about the Mindspring merger, I guess they were lookin for anything.

This is a definite case of self-importance. The person in question (who is a she, BTW) is the liason between between the eastern support staff and the people involved in the pilot project, who are brokers. Have you seen "American Psycho"? That's what the people I "accused" of whining do. Apparently brokers that have half million dollar plus incomes don't whine. I guess it doesn't matter that what they do is evil and that the ideal psychological profile for that job is, in fact, the textbook definition of a psychopath (delusions of grandeur, amoral, lack of remorse being key traits).

Ah....scary....I say you kill them. This is the reason I decided not to be a lawyer. Sounds similar, also sounds like my baby brother(You would hate him). I didn't see "American Psycho", should I? No one has told me if it was any good...

This is your office manager speaking...tact baby tact. You need to kiss people's asses when you insult them in the work place....sometimes they are too stupid to notice then *evil laugh*
