Yep - I can't remember the last time I was in the Coliseum... 1998 maybe?

It was a "Legends of Hockey" benefit game, Canada vs. Russia.
When Tiger Williams came out, and the announcer mentioned his 3,966 accumulated penalty minutes, the roar from the crowd was insane.

good ol' tiger...i hope he rode around on his stick like a broomstick...ha ha...i used to go to quite a few games there as safeway had canucks tickets for cheap and sometimes i would get them for free...it was a great place to watch a game...

It'd be ugly. Considering there were roits in Montréal when Rocket Richard was bench, and riots in Vancouver when the Canucks lost the Stanley Cup... we have a picture of hockey players and the first few lines from "The Hockey Sweater (http://archives.cbc.ca/IDC-1-41-1546-10372/sports/spirit_of_hockey/clip1)" are on the back of the $5 bill (http://www.bankofcanada.ca/en/banknotes/general/character/2001-04_05.html).
