I just found out today that I have to take lunch. That's another hour of my day wasted in addition to the two spent commuting.

I'm not happy about this.

My lunch is manditory because of union rules. I'm not sure what the hell I am supposed to do for that hour since I don't eat. I guess I will be going for walks.

that is strange as almost every union place i've worked it's only half an hour...we just combine it with our coffee breaks and make it an hour...i usually go for walks on my break too as i eat my oatmeal at my desk around noon anyway...

Unless I've been doing something strenuous in the morning, I don't even start to feel hungry until 3:00 or so.

I have fuond with office desk jobs where you remain motionless - you get a caloie crash about 1/2 hour after lunch.

Another good reason. It takes more like 90 minutes for me, but yeah, if I eat a substantial lunch I'm falling asleep at 2:00.

Port Moody City Hall. There isn't a whole lot interesting around. There is Newport Village across the street, which isn't that exciting, and a park to walk in behind the building. I expect I'll be walking around in the park a lot.

Heh... I'm not in a union, but am expected to take lunch. I pick up sushi, then go to the staff lounge and play computer games/watch TV for an hour :-P
