I'm glad you took that picture. I was admiring it as well. In fact, I was quite disappointed that I didn't have a camera for when I saw the moonset yesterday morning. I was driving along Chancellor Blvd, where W 4th connects to UBC campus, and this moon low on the horizon over Howe Sound, with the fresh snow on the Tantalus Range and Bowen Island... the sun, which hadn't quite rose, was casting a pink glow over the distant snow. It was postcard perfect.
i guess i'll have to cart my camera around for the next couple of days for such events...the cool and crisp weather and late sunrise and early sunset have made for some particularly inviting photographic conditions...
