mbarrickI just got a call from the fellow I've been corresponding with, Kevin Kelly, about the job in Wellington. They are keen on me and I will have my first interview with the hiring manager, Rodney Whitmore, most likely Monday night local time (Tuesday afternoon in New Zealand; Monday is a holiday there, apparently). This is a very solid nibble.
They are good with 6-weeks notice in order to properly tie up loose ends here and get down there. They didn't baulk at the wage (which would put me in the top 10% of wage earners in NZ). I've actually got a very real shot at this one. If all goes well, we could be in New Zealand as early as April.
