The despair and angst is almost palpable. I now have an overwhelming urge to read Kafka and contemplate the metaphors of starvation and alienation in relation to my pitiable situation as a misunderstood artist, what with the great depth of my work being utterly lost on the wallowing gluttonous consumers of the society of the spectacle.
