mbarrickToday is my brother's birthday. His comes one week ahead of mine. I decided a while back not going to throw a brithday party this year, at least not like I have done the last couple of years. It's good enough that Sanctuary is open late on the 5th of August - that will be my birthday party. There is just nothing noteworthy about turning 34. Next year, however, I have plans. Prior to the all the remarkable things we take absolutely for granted (clean water, closed sewers, refigeration, garbage collection, effective medices, et al.) the average lifespan of a human being was about 35. Next year is going the be my "death day". This year, however, I think I'll just buy myself the new camera I was looking at yesterday and accost everyone with it at Sanctuary.
