So here is a revised version of the cybergoth illustration. They wanted colourful and "more cartoony" than the sketch I did before. Hopefully this is what they are after. It was fun to do. There is real pen and ink drawing at the root of this, but - obviously - most of the time making this was spent in Photoshop. It's an unusual way for me to work and I am a little disconcerted by the fact that there is no tangible "original"... what would Walter Benjamin have to say about this?

You seem to have a good eye for stylized illustrations... should be interesting to see what you do with the others.

That's so cool!

I especially love how you made the foreground higher res (or higher def?) than the background.

Taking a look at your original though, I kind of liked how the girl was bigger in the sketch than the redo...just cause I'm biased given *my* body type.

That's not to say that the skinnier version isn't still way cool...I'm just a little curious as to why that change was made. I suppose the skinnier look does look more cartoony actually...hmm...*scratches head*

I rather like this style. Indeed, if you were willing to use it more often, I could see some interesting comics sidelines work very nicely.
