Well, go figure

All things said and done, I am pretty pleased with today. There are the interesting things in my previous friends-only post, I got the Wonder Wagon back from the garage ready for air-care and with a transmission that doesn't leak anymore, and I started a new painting.

You do stuff about what you can do stuff about and wait and hope (and maybe whine a little in your blog) about the rest.

Now I'm sleepy and it is off to bed. Gotta be at work early tomorrow so I can leave early.

Just to make today that much more perfect the nasty hot weather went away and rain is falling. But, I've got to get my ass in gear and get to work so I'm good to leave early today.

it's lovely here too- cool and breezy and the awful humidity is gone. unfortunately, i'm about a week behind schedule and still tired as hell. ah well. at least i don't have to wear pointy interview shoes today. :}

That's funny. I usually wear pointy shoes, but today I am wearing my *blunt* interview shoes.

i would wear my workboots year 'round if allowed, but i've recently made some nice shoe purchases and have been indulging in a little more variety lately. actually, i prefer going barefoot over all, but i don't think work would like that much. :}
