Slow start

Am I ever off to a slow start today. I stayed up too late at Ivana's (and I can't imagine how she manages since the kids wake her up early) and consequently slept in too late. I wasted the entire morning rolling over, looking at the clock, thinking "Oh, crap, it's late. I should get up!" and subseqently falling back to sleep. I wouldn't feel half so guilty about sleeping away an entire Saturday morning if it wasn't for the knowledge that Ivana could not do the same. Now it is suddenly mid-afternoon and I'm hosed for getting everthing done today that I had planned on.

At least the weather is good. Bright sunshine and too much heat just bakes the life right out of me. Give me grey skies, a stiff, cold wind and temperatures in the low teens (that's be "50's" for my American friends still on Farenheit) any old day. Last night was perfect. No rain, the wind was strong, the sky was partially overcast so bright winter stars were peeking though the clouds... tonight looks like it is shaping up similarly. There is a small craft warning in effect, the predicted low is 8 °C (46 °F) and the POP is only 40%. I just may walk home from the club tonight.

the weather was freakin' perfect today- the scattered sunlight was warm, but it was cool enough for a jacket in the shade and the breeze was just wonderful. we drove through several rural parts of new jersey and just gawked at the trees- and they're not even at their peak yet! tonight it will be nice and chilly, and it will feel so good to curl up under a warm blanket with the window open...

oh yeah- i love autumn. :}

Sometimes I read your journal entries and feel like I don't need to write a thing. Your words are my own, and quite often. I wish I could tell you that I really know what you mean, but I would probably write it every day.

I could say exactly the same thing. Obviously, I suppose.

Well, I wasn't expecting that reply. I got a smile out of it. :) I sometimes feel like I don't write enough about what I think about. I get more of a release out of reading LJ than I do writing in it, maybe it's because I write in a composition book every day. So I wouldn't have expected you to relate since my entries are so scattered and few. But I am genuinely overjoyed that we agree. We must have coffee when I can get up that way. (I still want to move to Seattle). I will update you. Thanks for being on LJ.

Hopefully I'll still be here. Moving to Toronto is a very real possibility for me right now.

You know, that's the only part of Canada I've been to, (several times.) The biggest culture shock I've experienced, I loved it. Have you been?
