So I was off on a late-night rescue of my Deja Thoris last night. The car Ivana was driving, her father's car, overheated on her way home from work. It wasn't anything serious, the car is a Toyota with one of those electric cooling fans rather than a belt-driven one and it appears the fan has ceased to function. I refilled the radiator and got her to drive with the heat on full blast while I followed her home. The engine was rather warm when we arrived but we made it.

Once we got there we had a chance to talk and resolved what was bothering us both. Things are good again. To make a long story short we ran into a situation where events beyond our control caused us to both to play into eachother's neuroses. All things said and done now I'm very pleased. Finally, a healthy relationship, despite (or perhaps because of) our past failures.

Oh, and thanks, Trish, for letting me rant about this the other day.
