For the third month running I am not going to make it to Sin City because I have too much to do. After painting the kitchen, more unpacking and moving things around, and other endless move-related crap, I now get to sit down and write a custom spider application for a large law firm. It all needs to be done, but I'd rather be standing on the deck off Blood Alley with a cigarette and a double gin and tonic. *sigh*
Maybe I'll have the gin at least.
Goddam you missed a good party, and it missed you!
Date: 2002-02-10 01:15 pm (UTC)It looks like we've been going on for long enough that people have lost that hyperfocus that they give to new nights or unfamiliar things. Huge mix of people as always, and everyone was just enjoying the music regardless of whether they knew it or not or whether they felt it fit their stereotypes of genre.
One of the highlights for me which summed up the pure good natured fun element of the night was when I dodged out back to the patio and there were four people in and on a car in the alley behind the club just dancing in the street to the music pouring out of the back of the club.... wheeeee!
Well, Michael, hopefully we'll see you again in the future if work doesn't keep you tied up!
