One of my favourites of the series you've been posting the past few days. This one is very...pictorialist...

LOL. Pictorialism... once again I establish myself on the cutting edge of the turn of the (last) century Image.

Cry me a (Hudson) river. I'd trade you my boreal forest for your concrete jungle. I'm still having dreams about the city.

i guess that's true- you need some of each. the thing is- the city is a lot easier for me to get to than the woods are. *sigh*

eh- maybe i'll get a driver's licence eventually. :}

But what for, really? You can get to Central Park or the Cloisters on the subway.

Muh. I want to go back now. Somehow I am going to have to convince Ivana that New York isn't evil. We can get a little house somewhere like Montclair and I can go into the city to work. *sigh* Funny that my fondest ambitions are so utterly ordinary.

Say, "hi" to Michele for my when you are in town.

will do! i'm going to give her a call this week- i may be killing time friday before Contempt and sometimes we meet up for coffee or Japanese.

my dream is to own a two-family Victorian, and montclair is full of them. shall i reserve the ground floor for you folks? (enclosed yard and fireplaces included!)

btw- how are the cats and kids getting along? well i hope?

Sounds good! The cats could all hang out together. Of course you'd get stuck with babysitting on occasion.

The cats and kids are getting along great. Kyla keeps wanting to go into the "Cat Room" to see them.
