Two people on my friends list had people they know die yesterday. It's tangental, but death and LJ made me think of this again.

Probably the first instance of an unplanned and utterly spontaneous interactive memorial.

Hmmm... it always seems unsettling for me to hear of something like that happen to someone I know, or rather someone that knows someone I know. It doesn't matter how distant this person is from me, once I'm reminded, I'm suddenly reminded of the possibility of this happening to me or someone closer to me. *sigh* My condolences to whomever it is who lost someone they care about. v_v
