First attempt at gilding something. It was a much different experience than I was expecting, surprisingly like painting. Somehow I managed to mostly gild the nail of my right index finger and there's actual gold "craft herpes" on my hands, the curtains, my clothes, and sure to be appearing in unexpected places for the rest of my life. Also, I'm seriously tempted to gild my nails on purpose. via Instagram
