OK, I was reading Son of Reptard's latest rant and the bit where he calls Leaf an asshole made me think of that Denis Leary asshole song. I like Dennis Leary. I also happen to be a Lotus Notes/Domino developer and administrator and really liked it when Dennis Leary was the spokesman for Lotus (if anyone can get their hands on one of the Dennis Leary/Lotus promotional mousepads I'd love to have one). So, the Internet being the ultimate source of all things banal and stupid (like this journal or, oh, say Reptard's website) I googled myself up the lyrics to the song and got a good chuckle out of this bit:

Silly stuff ...
I could be wrong, but I'm not really participating in this any longer, though I'm soooo tempted to really have fun with this and do a parody site on this whole thing ... "Dark Conspiracy"(tm) (I like it!) ... but I'm refraining. (but man, wouldn't it be fun ...)

It seems Morbius doesn't like the fact I'm documenting the events and encounters I've had with the Reptard family. I'm documenting it for the benefit of whoever their next victim will be ... and so other community moderators have enough reasons to put their foot down if it happens in their domain.

I know. Thus the whole Turkey Conspiracy (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=mbarrick&keyword=The+Turkey+Conspiracy&filter=all). But it's hard to be more absurd than interdimensional lizards. Although a Dark Conspiracy™ site not unlike the Canadian World Domination (http://www.standonguard.com) would be fun.
